We conducted a survey of teachers, parents, and students who care about someone with ADHD & NDDs because understanding their real-world experiences is essential to identifying the biggest gaps, frustrations, and challenges in learning and management. By gathering insights directly from those who teach, raise, or learn with ADHD & NDDs, the survey reveals the everyday realities of managing symptoms, the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of current medications, and the obstacles to academic or behavioral success.

Continous holistic feedback helps uncover what isn’t working, highlights areas where families and educators feel unsupported, and guides the development of more effective, compassionate solutions for students with ADHD.

We rely on the Universal Design for Learning Guidelines to helps us build frameworks for our solutions. We respect that these guidelines encompass the ‘whole brain’ approach and affirms that we all do not learn and retain knowledge the same way.

GA – In The Zone™ aka Guardian Airwaves ITZ™ is our multi-modal technology platform to engage, strengthen, and encourage middle and high school students with learning differences towards an accomplished academic trajectory.

ITZ™ is a web-based platform that accommodates the student while in their smart period, at their friend’s house, or even in their rooms by themselves. Parents can be relieved if their students are ‘actually’ doing homework when they say they are. 

No…. we are not replacing teachers but we serve teachers and parents as ‘extra eyes’ on their students while they are independently engaging with their academic assignments.

We believe ADHD & NDD learners increasingly thrive on personalized learning that adapts to their individualized education plans (IEPs) or 504 plans. Inputs from students, their parents, and teachers complete the personalization of the student’s holistic experience with the ITZ™ platform.  Our platform stands out from other EdTech companies by integrating adaptive learning, observation, and analysis technologies to provide deeply individualized experiences.

SME Collaboration

We work closely with cognitive scientists, expert educators, students, UX designers, data analysts, AI Agentic,  natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision (CV) experts during our research and development. Continuous usability testing and design iterations with student beta testers ensure real-world relevance and effective learning outcomes. We rely on proven learning theories and update and modernize educational tools to meet learners’ evolving needs without reinventing the wheel.

We boost re-engagement, motivation, and confidence with intrinsic rewards that come from within the individual and are tied to personal values, interests, and goals. 

What are examples of intrinsic rewards?​

  • A sense of accomplishment or pride after completing a challenging task.

  • Feeling that the work is meaningful or connected to a larger purpose.

  • Enjoyment or interest in the task itself (doing it because it relates to something they like).

  • Personal growth, learning, and mastery of new skills.

  • Autonomy and control over how work is done.

  • Feeling capable in one’s role.

  • Internal satisfaction from helping others or contributing to a team.

Special Note:

Our surveys asked:

1. What reward from PARENTS would motivate you to learn?

     66.7% of students reported appreciation from their parents, compared to 9.5% who stated monetary rewards. 

2. What rewards from TEACHERS would motivate you to learn?

     42.9% of students reported ‘notes from their teachers to their parents’, compared to 12.9% for homework passes.

BUT, who doesn’t mind a little extrinsic reward now and then?  So…we incorporated a parent-and-teacher contribution reward system into our online platform. These rewards are designed to be personally meaningful, so parents can support and participate in their students’ incentives.

A triad of dashboards for the student, teacher, and parent in the loop in real-time. The student can drag and drop their required academic content into  ITZ™’s reading screen, and engage with conversational avatars for cognitive learning support and offer emotional guidance – especially when humans aren’t available.
Adaptive controls personalize every journey by matching learning preferences and educational plans.

Currently, we are ‘heads down’ working towards our MVP – minimal viable product to bring what was asked for in our user research.
